Default Found New Hardware(Printer)???

Each time I boot my computer I get this window. I have searched the Microsoft Knowledge Base and used their suggestions to remove it. When I go to the registry to remove and attempt to delete LPTENUM I get this error message:

Cannot delete LPTENUM.....ERROR WHILE DELETING KEY

What I understand is that Windows is recognizing a former printer that I no longer have and wishes me to install it.

Any suggestions in correcting this annoying problem??

No, I haven't used this printer(Epson Stylus Photo 880) for about three years and was destroyed then.

I emailed Epson about the problem but they never responded.

I cannot understand why this window started appearing just recently.

I did install a Canon printer about three weeks ago. I do not know if that anything to do with it.

Thanks for your response though.

I Found The Solution For FOUND NEW HARDWARE PROBLEM:

1) Go to start
2) Then Run
3) Type devmgt.msc in box
4) In Device Manager...View...Click On Show Hidden Devices
5) Under Printers you will find Unknown Device(with yellow!)
6) Rt. Click then click on Disable
7) Restart 'puter.

The ANNOYING WINDOW IS GONE.

NOTE: I guess you could click on uninstall but I did not want to make any permanent changes if this did not solve the problem.
