I had the same problem with a Nvidia card. I had it returned to where I bought it and they could not figure it out over a period of 2 months. in the end they had to replace it with an ATI card.

CallumUK, my card is fine. Its just that I am getting a blue screen with this paticular game. Even if it was broken it would have to survive for a while longer since I don't have any money to replace it. Thanks anyway.
mrdaveyk, I don't think I have tried that one, Ill give it a shot and see what happens. Ill try it out over a couple of days and see if I get any blue screens with cod4. I wonder why the international driver version is bigger than the U.S one. Thanks for the help.

I was in a similair situation mine only did it on battlefield 2, not anyother game. try testing it on a game that requires a similair system spec as COD4. is their any mention of this happening to other people with same or similair graphics cards on a COD4 forum, you might find a solution their.

My card is fine. I run crysis on it and it does not do it. And that is a much more demanding game then cod4. Even if it was the card I can live with it blue screening once and a while on just that game. No I havn't gone to a cod4 fourm to see if anybody else had the same problem. Hopefully the drivers I downloaded fixed it.

Unfortunatly it just did it again. :(
But instead of getting into a game I was just getting into microsoft word. Here is the info if anybody knows what it means. It still has something to do with the nvidia display drivers.

Stop: 0x000000050 (0xE47D3000, 0x00000000, 0xBFA15023, 0x00000001)

nv4_disp.dll -- Address BFA15023 base at BF9D5000, DateStamp 47567aa4

If anybody has any more ideas let me know. Callum might have a point of a bad card, now that it has done it on something else than a game.
