I have program that I need to get rid of the tab atop of the window that it's within, by tab I mean the strip atop the window that contains the minimize, maximize and close. Is there some sort of program that can asign this program with a non tab mode???? the reason for this is that I have customers that use the computer and I dont want them to get into windows just use the program alone.

The things you talk about are generally programmed in. To lock down an application you would override the events triggered by clicking there.
In browsers, there are security issues with removing them, ie, you can build something that looks like a browser window but is otherwise. But you don't say what your "program" is. Is it a browser? Anyway, Ctrl+Alt+Del will let anyone in! |

well they cant ctrl alt del as there is no keyboard, so thats not really the prob. The program is an ms-dos based prog running in windows XP as far as I can tell. The problem is is that its an exhibition in the national aquarium in plymouth UK, and the program automatically opens on startup but then all it does is maximise to the screen but does not 'full screen' ie no tab thingy. is there no prog that can attach to this prog and allow for the dissapearance of the tab

If it's an MSDOS program, why not run it in MSDOS?

Otherwise, find the icon that runs the program and right click on it and select properties.
Choose the Options tab. Now select Full Screen. Will that do? |

You have to select the icon you intend to run the program from. If you are running it from the command prompt, don't run it from Start-->Run. Create a shortcut to cmd.exe first, do the above to that and then run your prog within that maximized window.
