My old computer CPU Usage was very high in its 50 - 60 %'s and the base was making hell alot of noise, ticking sounds all the time (suppose its doing much Paging because of the 1GB RAM it used to have)

But..

Now my new one's CPU Usage is about only 1% and am like ... plus the base is not making any much noise (infact alot quieter!!)

Cheers

Sounds like the old one was overworked and the new one underworked.

Coming back to the topic here, is bad/dangerous for the system to be underworked?
