I have done a search on these forums and did not find an answer this question, i am on 32bit vista and downloaded vista upgrade checker to see if my machine is good enough for 64bit, but it told me nowt, so where can i see if my comp is good enough for 64bit, is there a download somewhere that will tell me or do i have to go into pc world and hold one of the sales staff hostage until i get an answer

Right click My Computer on your desktop > Properties > Should say you CPU and RAM there, post the results.

Your CPU is 32Bit so no, you can only run 32Bit.

64Bit CPUs normally come in the dual, triple or quad variety.

Personally I wound not bother with 64Bit, the only gain really is the ability to run more than 3.25GB of RAM.
