How many of you have actually decided to go with the all singing and all dancing new windows OS.

Yep, and love it, but there are plenty of bugs.

Have had lots of driver props and had to replace a few bits to get everything up and running.

Recently I had to swap to FireFox and Thunderbird 2 because IE7 and Outlook 2007 keeps crashing.

Default Have you upgraded to vista?

I have Vista installed on another drive but rarely use it.
Gaming(DX10) is all I wanted it for and to be quite honest DX10 enhanced games at the moment are useless.Any I have I usually play on XP because the performance loss on Vista is too much(and thats with a 3.45Ghz E6600 and 8800GTX).
It doesnt like some programs I use,it wont let me permanently allow some startup progams,it is a pain until you google how to turn off its constant "are you sure you want to move/copy/delete/edit etc etc nagging.
The dreamscene desktop looks cool(pity its not stable.lol)
For me it makes nothing easier and everything harder.

Have a dual boot.
Im my view microsoft tried to fix something which wasnt broken, XP is great, Vista is full of bugs and slower! - Not what i want from a new system.

XP is limited where new games are concerned, Microsoft had to bring out vista in order for the games industy to progress.

Might think about it in a year or so, for the moment XP is fine does all I want never crashes and the drivers are all available. Don't need DX10 or a flash GUI. To be honest Ive got an old 98se set up that if it was a bit more stable would do for what I need.
