I am trying to move an important folder on my new USB raid system to create more space on the existing server, and so our company is covered by the raid-2 system. I want others to be able to access this via networking throughout the company just like the folder is now without being moved. I have mimiced the folder's settings and sharing rights, etc on a folder on the drive completely however on a computer with access normally from the server is constantly asking me for a password and i am unable to connect. (i type in the correct password for the admin account on the server "which it asks for" but that does not work.) I am lost on how to get this share to work.

Is it a linux or Microsoft server operating system? Which networking file-share daemon or service are you running? What operating systems are you expecting to support on the client machines?

It is Microsoft Server 2003, and i am unsure what you mean by file-share daemon (we are using the windows sharing tab when you click properties), and the cleint machines all have XP. The share already setup for one folder is working but when i want to put it on this usb raid drive system, it constantly asks for a password and when i give it the correct password it just keeps asking.
