Check your Virtual Memory Settings :

Control Panel/System/Advanced, click Settings/Performance/Advanced ... by default XP sets these at 2.5 times your installed RAM .... for example if your RAM is 384mb, then 2.5 x 384 = 960mb. My System: Home Build

You only need to change your virtual memory if windows tells you it is low and it has nothing to do with your actual RAM. My System: Hybr!d

You're misinterpreting what I'm saying.
When your actual RAM runs out you start to use Virtual Memory which is a smart name for hard drive space. So unless you have a low amount of real RAM or XP is telling you have low Virtual Memory you really need not worry or change anything. |
