I am building a rig and all my parts will be here on Friday but I have no OS. I know I need 64 bit but should I get Home Premium or Ultimate. My parts list is as follows:
Radeon HD 4850
Blu ray drive
4 GB corsiar dominator ram
Intel Core duo E8500 wolfdale
Gigabyte UD3P P45 mobo
Corsair 450w PSU

I will be using it mostly as a media rig but I will run some Crysis type games but nothing beyond that and autocad. I just cant decide if it's worth the extra dough b/c Tiger Direct has 64bit home premium for $110.

Personally I can see the value in going bigger than home premium.

Yeah, Home Premium has pretty much everything you need and is at a better price point then Business or Ultimate.
