| 98 in a LAN? I have setup a network between my windows XP and 98. I can ping the 98 but get permission error when try to connect. |

| Go to start- control panel- network and internet connection- network connection. On the left panel u will see set up home network. After setting it up, create a network setup disk. with this disk put it into the win 98 machine and run the netsetup on the disk. Restart the win 98 pc. After this u will be able to use network neighbourhood to share files. |
