If, like me, you have added lots of senders to the blocked senders list in Windows Mail, you may have noticed it takes a fair while for Windows Mail to open ..... in my case about 13 seconds.
This delay gets longer, the more addresses you add ...... so what if you want to delete them all and start again ? ..... well there is no option to do this from within Windows Mail, unless you delete them one at a time, which could take you all day, if you have a significant number.
There is a solution, however, by using regedit.
Click on the Start icon and type "regedit" in the Start/Search box and hit "Enter"
Now scroll down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER and navigate to the "Blocked Senders List" ...... the path is :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Junk Mail\Blocked Senders List
Now right click on the Blocked Senders List folder and select Delete, from the pop up menu.
That's it ..... you can now start over and you will notice Windows Mail opens up within a second once again.
Be careful, not to change anything else, whilst in regedit, as this could seriously damage the health of your Vista installation.
