I was trying to install my newer vista with the windows XP I have earlier , but am facing trouble , as the WINXP cant seem to run after installing vista home edition . Can anyone tell me the exact procedure to do this ?

Well i want both operating systems as some of my programs don't run as smoothly on VISTA .I am a noob in this field .

When you turn on the PC do you get the option to boot from either?
