Default I am having trouble recording documents onto a CD...

...on my computer with windows XP. Does anyone have any ideas? I wanted to make a copy of some files in microsoft works. i have the old version of msmedia player, could thaqt be the problem? How do i check it out to see if that is the problem? thank you

Default I am having trouble recording documents onto a CD...

media player has nothing to do with burning data on cd;;;after you check your CDROM to make sure it is a writtable drive;;use ,Nero,,Roxio,or whatever software that came with the cdrom,,or put all the files you want to copy in one folder;;;on the top left corner click EDIT,,scroll down and click SELECT ALL;;on the left pane click COPY,,when the pop up menu opens highlight D:(or whatever letter your cdrom is)then go down and click copy.the files will be copied to the cdrom drive not the cd;;;so open the cdrom by double clicking on it,,or click the bubble(You Have Files Waiting To Be Burned);;when the folder opens look on the top left side and click WRITE THESE FILES TO CD
