hi,
ok this is my first time making my own computer i bought my case mother board and everything and i turned on the computer. i installed windows but now every time i try to do anything that uses my hard drive a bit my computer gets stuck so now when i restart my computer i see that it says that my hard drive is in bad condition and i need to back up and replce. so i bought a new hard driove and the tried to istall the windows on it. even before ia get the option (do you want to istall windows, press enter or something) i get the blue screen with the stop error and i had to turn off the computer. then i tried an other hard drive and it said the same thing. then i tried to reinstall windows on the same hard drive with the bad condition and it gave me the same error. i am really stuck and need help i have already used a lot of money on my computer and cant offord to pay more to fix it. i will really appreciate any help. thx.

First step is to very carefully check that all cables and expansion cards are securely seated. That goes for RAM too. Do you get past the BIOS screen?

A blue screen generally means that a Windows error has occurred, strange seeing that you are trying to install Windows from a CD. Are you sure that in the BIOS you have set it to boot from a CD BEFORE any HDD?
