Can't help but wonder if that's Cheesepuff (from the forums) selling that W2000 disc on eBay??

The Q&A at the bottom:

Q: Silly question I know, but have you removed Windows 2000 from the non-internet machine you installed it on?
A: Hi, not a silly question, i have destroyed the hard drive it was installed on using a sledgehammer hence technically i have uninstalled it!
Remember the thread about him destroying his PC with a sledgehammer..
and scoring a "Hard Disk Home Run"

Hell of a coincidence.

Phil

I don't have a 95 or 98 disc but I guess they will be easier to get hold of than 2000 pro.
I could try and ask the seller to throw in his old 95/98 if he still has either.

Will I need product key for 95/98 disc?

Thanks

IIRC you dont need the product key for the qualifying product.
If it is an Upgrade Disk, W2K will reach a stage of the Clean Install and ask you to insert the qualifying product disk.
It's just checking that you possess the disk and thereby qualify for the upgrade.
