hi everyone,
I'm not to familiar with the workings a pc and i think i made things worse with my work pc. Please help if you can......our pc in work rarely needs internet and has a dial up connection for downloading invoices from our supplier. I used the internet yesterday and kept getting pop ups saying critical systems error so i downloaded free spyware and tried to download free anti virus. The connection was terribly slow and today the work program kept freezing.I tried to uninstall everything that i had put on yesterday but it still didn't help. I then uninstalled from add or remove programs
pro salvage ddr and the pc restarted in safe mode and still freezes.
My boss will go mad so what can I do?How can I go back to before i messed with it?
It uses windows 2000 but I can't find system restore. How do i get out of safe mode?

This download is the latest driver package released for the S3 ProSavageDDR graphics controllers. The ProSavageDDR graphics controllers were included with VIA NorthBridge chipsets.

License: Freeware
Requires: Win XP/2K

thanks guys,
I was so lucky as i phoned the company where the pc was bought from and who installed the software and they said the drivers i uninstalled were left inside the pc so i was able to reinstall them. whew!!!!
The modem is still going at a snails pace and i was wondering if i could copy spybot search and destroy and avg anti virus onto a pen drive at home and bring it into work and save and run it on that pc. hopefully that will fix the problem.
what do you think?

Probably the best thing would be to put McAfee Stinger on the pen drive. It does not install it runs from the exe.

Also use CWShredder same thing, runs right from the exe.
