Default Internet connection icon please help.

... Vista... Not the best OS at the moment. Either try going back to xp or get a modem card. Or you can reload the drivers for the one you currently have.

Default Internet connection icon please help.

I believe if you go to Start -> Run, type services.msc and hit OK, right click Network List Service and activate it, this problem will go away.
