Hello I am new to the this Forum, but need some help, I hope I've posted in the correct area; if not mods please move my post.


In an attempt to make more room on my hard drive I defragmented my files and used the clean up facility on XP to get rid of unwanted files etc..

I do have more room on my hard drive, however no programmes will launch and I keep getting a message that this is due to lack of system resources.

Could anybody give me a few ideas of what it could be before it gets shipped off to the Computer Hospital? Many thanks

I'd probably try doing a windows repair.

You will need a genuine XP CD and licence.

Try spyware scans also.
