This is a hard one to explain so please bear with me. I have just bought a emachines 4231 desktop pc. Whenever I log in on the bottom right of the screen a white box with the follwing wording appears (in this order):-
English Francais Nederlands Italiano Espanol There is an arrow to the right of each word. The problem is that if i place the mouse cursor over this, the cursor disappears! It means I cannot see any of the icons on the toolbar in the bottom right of the screen. I have tried everything but no joy! Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks. The operating system is Vista. |

I assume you just want rid if these? if so, go in Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details
You will then see all of the languages you listed above, click on each and select remove, leaving English of course, click apply and after a reboot your problem should be gone Hope it works for you

No joy unfortunately - only language listed is English! Thanks for the attempted solution.

Right click an empty area at the bottom if the screen and go to toolbars and see if language bar can be unchecked. Or maybe another setting.
