Just got myself a Netgear Wireless Router, installed the wireless usb key via the cd and all is well when i quickly checked the internet, making sure it all works....

Switched off the Laptop, upon loading it up again, its asking for a login into XP!!!! I have never had a password to get into XP...

After clicking on "OK", without entering the password...

It starts to freeze or either non of the programs work at all... nothing!!!

I restart it and hit F8, there is no option to to go into Safe Mode...

Please someone help me

There should be a safe mode option. Are you sure.
Check manual for laptop to see if its a different key(unlikely I know).
Its maybe a little early to do a fresh install but I suppose if you dont mind losing data its an easy option.
Re installing windows is straight forward enough.
Rather than me go through it you can read This.
Thats if you really want to go through with it.
