Default Locking down 6 PCs

Guys,

Looking for a little advice here - I have six new PCs to setup for the local library but want to ensure they are locked down to users. i.e users cannot change desktop background, right click and save images from the internet, install software.

All i want them to be able to do is access the internet, msn messenger - thats about it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mez

Default Locking down 6 PCs

Hi, Need a bit more info first:

Are these 6 computers going to be running on a workgroup? So there's going to be different user accounts on each PC? Running XP? How many user accounts will be on each pc?

You can set up a Local group policy for the computer so if there's multiple users logging on with different usernames, the rights will be the same. Or you can give different users
