I need two things: Sorry if this isn't a simple question but, how do you run logon scripts in vista. I've written a .bat file but don't know how to run it at logon. and I need the taskbar to auto-hide, but when i restart my laptop it reverts to the non auto-hide settings, how can i stop this? cheers FB

Hi Which version of vista are you running? Are you wanting to run this script for all users or just a specific one? Many Thanks Leo

Hi As Home Premium doesn't technically support "logon scripts" have you tried putting the batch file in the startup folder in the start > programs menu? As far as the task bar auto-hiding, are you running an OEM version of vista installed by dell or similar? I hope this helps. Many Thanks Leo

Hi Excellent. Glad thats sorted. Sometimes OEM's such as toshiba edit parts of the registry to prevent certain changes. This may possibly the the reason, I will look into it and get back to you. I hope this helps. Many Thanks Leo
