Default msconfig>startup

How many of the programs in startup are actually needed to run windows? I know they are not all needed but am worried I might remove something crucial.

Check out this little program. It will tell you what isn't needed.

No problem.

Another handy free tool is StartUp Tool

It doesn't install, the exe runs it. Right click anything you don't want running at startup and choose remove.
