 msconfig>startup How many of the programs in startup are actually needed to run windows? I know they are not all needed but am worried I might remove something crucial.       |

| msconfig>startup No problem. Another handy free tool is StartUp Tool It doesn't install, the exe runs it. Right click anything you don't want running at startup and choose remove. |
