 My CD/DVD drive is gone? Cheers everybody :) My CD/DVD drive suddenly disappeared from "my computer" but when i look at : 'Start' and select 'Settings' ->'Control Panel' ->'System' ->'Hardware' ->'Device Manager' ->'DVD/CD-ROM Drives' then it says that my cd/dvd drive is working correctly.??? It does not pop out when i push the button... Anybody who has an idea? Best Regards: PranX |

| My CD/DVD drive is gone? Try uninstalling it through what you listed above, then rebooting your comp so that XP finds new hardware, maybe that will fix it Or you could just try right clicking on the drive icon and selecting eject, maybe your button has stopped working
