Hello I don't know why this has happened but my keyboard has been like this for ages and I've finally decided that it is annoying me enough to seek help about it. I've already looked for ways to solve the problem - it involved Regional and Language Options and a character map.
My problem is that when I hold shift and click the key that has the at sign on it it makes double quotes appear and when I hold shift and click the double quotes key it makes the at sign appear. Why does this happen and how can I fix the problem? EDIT: I'm using Windows XP BTW. |

Its because you have the keyboard set to US mode.
Go to regional and language options and click the languages tab, then click "details", and select the correct keyboard language.
