hey guys,

in the last week or so, my laptop is slowly but surely crumbling to bits from the inside out...
1. quite often when i try to go to a site, i get a pop up from windows saying theres a MIME extension error. the windows link in the popup yields no explanation or resolution!
2. my napster music files dont work now, a pop up comes up saying the media usage rights for windows media player (which puzzles me because napster doesnt use w.m.p) wont allow me to play the files
3. when i am surfing the net, only half of each page downloads. if i am on youtube, a lot of the videos dont fully download. same with music . some pages wont allow me to get passed the first screen (beatport for example, says there is a communication error)
4. some of the programs ive downloaded ages ago, dont work now , eg: a flv to mp3 converter that i used a lot

it just seems that everytime i turn my laptop on something else doesnt work!

i have ran a full system scan and my norton software says theres no problem.but there obviously is!!!
i have also tried system restore, but it wont let me do that either.

im not very good with things like this, and im hoping one of the tech-heads on here can offer any possible solutions.
