Default need help bad with windows 2000?

i have win 2000 pro on a laptop what programs can i delete to have more memory all i have on it is just win 2000 pro nothing else any help please

Default need help bad with windows 2000?

Look in startup programs, or programs that run when you boot up. Hit Ctrl Alt and Delete to see running programs. Try killing various programs to see if it affects anything.

Default need help bad with windows 2000?

If you aren't using certain features such as the internet, you can get rid of some Windows 2000 Pro components relating to server connections. Also check your running services. Best idea is to buy more memory.Also, download MSCONFIG for Windows 2000, you can get rid of a few Microsoft processes and make your computer more secure too.
