I can access everything on my WinXP drive from Windows 7, except anything in the user folders. The furthest I can get there is C:\Documents and Settings\username. Any folders which are in there, I can't get to. I think it is because when you make your account in XP, you can choose whether to keep files private or not, and whether to set a password or not. That could be stopping access.
