| Ok so I have two PC's at home connected through a network. One is mine (desktop, Win XP SP2), the other one's my dad (laptop, Vista Business). Say I'm in my dad's PC, how can I make my own computer to run a program or open a folder because I need some files ? |

| If you go-to 'Network places' normally found on the start bar on either computer you should be able to see each others PCs from there.
