I'm assuming you have more than one drive yes ?

The current volume label, should be whatever the drive is listed as in "My Computer"

You need to go to My Computer and look at all the hard drives in there.

Take the one you want to convert and look at the letter that is assigned to it (normally C: or D:)

Then take this letter and put it in the command prompt

Something like this convert e: /fs:ntfs

I think he's already got past that stage, but is just stuck on the "Volume Label"

Ok, thanks guys,just finished converting,thats why I didnt get back to you,all seems to be fine now...I just put in the name of my hard drive which I call it NEW HARD DR. and it worked.
Just hope that fixes the computer turning itself off repeatedly first thing of the day.
