Hey,
I was uninstalling Office 2007, but cancelled the installation half way through. It cancelled successfully (as in, it said 'uninstallation has been cancelled' and then I closed the window). So now the program is still on the programs list, although apparently it's only 502mb and whenever I try to uninstall or change it a dialog pops up telling me 'setup could not find any available products to install. please contact your system administrator'. How do I get rid of the entry on the list, would I need to install office again and then uninstall it completely again? Thanks. |

put the office disc back in and use that to uninstall. If it won't, then repair it, uninstall it, and reinstall it.

Your going have to manually delete them.
Delete the folder/files at c:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/ Delete entire folder. There are also going to be a few registry entries, so you're going have to have a look in there, and delete anything associated with Microsoft Office. Remember to back up your current registry before making any changes: File > Export > Save Regards Jason |

Thanks, I deleted the program files folder but I've installed Office 2000 instead, so should I keep the registry entries?
