Nope.

But all the best!
I have complete snapshots of my hard drive every night for the past year and a half. And yes I have tested them many times.

I can restore back to where I am now in about 20 mins.

I am not too worried if it all goes tits up

Wow, I wish I was that organised.. I would do it, a great idea, but I'd forget to start the proccess in time for it to be finished by when I wanted to turn off, and I'd end up in frnt of the PC all night everynight..

But, in that case sods law would dictate that despite all your testing, when you actually need them, they don't work xD

Hehe, he was fantastic in his day, so boring and tedious now though. Such a shame.

On my last upgrade I put a 64 Gig SSD from OCZ in my system (my sig isn't showing yet) and yesterday out of curosity I added another SSD I have (long story) that is not reliable.

I loaded the 32 bit on that SSD in 21 minutes from boot of the DVD to log on. I think this one is a keeper. Now I have to decide if I want to dual boot the system (the SSD's are SATA drives and my laptop is IDE) and play with it when I'm not working (I work from home and this is my main system).

I didn't load anything on it just installed it, I downloaded a dual boot loader for Vista and used a VM to see if Win 7 would puke, nope works.

Reminds me of the way OS2 loaded with the boot manager being on a seperate partition and not visable.

No I am not a fan of Vista.

This is the most fun I have had in a long time!

:)

That's nice to know ..... I read this thread over at SASA Forums, which suggests it wont be officially released until Qtr4 2009, but it does say "compatibility is in development".
I know when I tried to install it, when the first Beta came out, it didn't work, so they must have tweaked things ..... I will give the latest version a try later .... thanks for the info

Isn't SAS a virus? I uninstalled it a month ago and I STILL get error messages. Event ID 7026 for SASKUTIL to be more specific. They occur pretty regularly arounfd my random annoying complete computer melt down crashes. The most recent (today) took me all day to get rebooted............ hell, even using the Vista Ultimate install dick for repair took me 5 tries..........
