| ok, i have a sata hard drive and an ide hard drive. the ide hard drive has vista on it and the sata is for general storage. i partitioned off 10gb on my sata drive for xp and then installed it to that partition. now all hell has broken loose, i cannot boot into any of the operating systems, it gives me no option for any boot modes or the boot loader and just says 'disk read error, press ctrl + alt + del'!!!!! please help me i CANT lose the data on the drives! |

| Sounds like you wiped all the partions, time for a fresh install.

| but i only installed it to one partition. i thought it might have something to do with the vista boot loader. |
