Default only want the vista laptop connected to my wireless hub only

can anyone help please.. is it possible to have my laptops only wireless connection to my wireless hub. this is because i have noticed the connect to on the start up menu shows all local encrypted and non encrypted networks. i personally am fine with that. but its my son who also uses the laptop that has me worrried. its up to date toshiba with vista home premium. help.

Why is it a problem? If you have it automatically connect to YOUR network, you never need to worry about that.

I'm sure you'll prove me wrong with a reason, but depending what it is there might be a way other than it not finding them.

ok. i dont want him connecting to other networks if i have switched off mine for any reason. if i switch mine off then he is able to access others in the area..

Blah. Why do people always prove me wrong when I tell them they don't need to do something... I don't mean to be personal, but what sort of age is he? - I mean you could delete the "connect to" tab in thhe start menu..

You can have it not automatically connect to found networks, but I don't think there's a way to make them not show up.
