ok so I get a BSOD, i put in my dell xp home disc, go through instead of recovery I do a new windows install and pick repair, it does its deal repairs files missing and I get my computer back files and all, well I cannot access any word documents which is MSOFFICE 2007 words, so I go to my ERUNT and try to roll it back to my last saved spot because my MSOFFICE disc will not work either, so after I roll it back it restarts and now it goes to the loading XP screen and when it goes through its cycle the screen turns blank, ive tried fixboot, fixmbr, an chkdsk /r it says every time error found and fixed, is there any other commands to try in recovery console, I also have hit F8 when choosing OS or recovery console and tried the debugging , last known good config, directory services restore mode and thats it and all safe modes and it will not go into safe mode, other options that i havent clicked enable boot logging, enable vga mode, and disable auto restart, I also downloaded puppy linux on a disc and tried it, when it goes to disc it comes up on a black screen saying Missing OS

Sounds like a failing hard drive, did you note down any no`s on the BSOD if so post them please
