alright I have flashed a computers os at work and it went fine. last night my computer has some sort of error, so i used the recovery 64 program that with my computer and used the recovery that came with my computer which was on the partition. everything loaded fine and installed, but when it started installing the other system programs it had a problem (the first 4 or 5 out of 54 installed fine) but then i had a problem on one of the installs.

At first it would say:

For Realtek RTL8100e/8101E Fast Ethernet Network Adapter v1.02 (060529)
PXE- E51: could not connect to IP (i forgot exactly)
PXE M0F: Exiting PXE ROM
Operationg System Not found

so i connected my computer directly to my moden
and not is says exactly the same thing except under PXE-E51 it says:

No DHCP or proxyDHCP offers were received

What should i do?

and thank you for your help

Thats a very confusing post, not sure what you have done, flashing an OS is not a term used in the trade. Can you maybe explain slower and in more detail.

for some reason it will not let my edit my post so here is the my edited post:

alright I have had to restore the operating system on a computer at work, but it came with a restore disk. Last night i set up a second monitor and when i disconnected from that monitor i started having problems, im not sure if that is what caused the problem or not but i decided to restore the os because it would not boot up.

I used the software Recovery 64, (it came with computer and was on my start up diagnosis utility, which also came with my computer). i choose for it to save all of my data files and then re-install the os. (instead of a disk, my restore os was on my partition) everything loaded fine and installed, but when it started installing the other system programs it had a problem (the first 4 or 5 out of 54 installed fine) but then i had a problem on one of the installs.
