Hey everyone out there. I am having an issue installing my windows Vista.
About my Rig
Intel Q6600 water cooled
MSI P965 NEO mobo
4 gigs of ram
260 gb sata hard drive

Anyways I have this computer and I am having trouble installing Microsoft Vista on it. The thing is I can install Microsoft XP and Linux Kubuntu (Gutsy) on it just fine. The other OS I cannot install on it is Fedora. When attempting to install microsoft Vista the Disk boots up and it can find and format the hard drive. But during installation the progress bar freezes and it just does not go anywhere after that for hours. I also know the vista cd works because I use it on other computers just fine.
Some more information though is that at first I was unable to install ubuntu on it until I flashed the bios and updated the jmicron controller on the board. If anyone knows what might be wrong it would be amazing. I do not enjoy having a quad core computer and telling ppl it can't run vista lol..

HeY this does not concern linux and alternate os systems.... ITS MICROSOFT and the issue is due to hardware compatibility.. I feel as though I had it in the right spot.
