Default Partition problem, windows wont partition

I have "Allocated space" and i want to bring it together with my C Partition, but when i get on Partition Magic and click merge, it says THERE IS NO PARTITIONS THAT CAN BE MERGED. so i go to resize, maybe that will work, ok so i decide which i ...

I have "Allocated space" and i want to bring it together with my C Partition, but when i get on Partition Magic and click merge, it says THERE IS NO PARTITIONS THAT CAN BE MERGED. so i go to resize, maybe that will work, ok so i decide which i want to resize, works fine, until i click OK, then it says something about some error...

im using UB CD, so does this have an effect.
im not going to waste money on a program just to partition a drive one time. any sollution?

o and there error is something like

"access violation at address 003B8016 in module 'PMagicNT.exe' . read of address 000004C."

well i appreciate all of you guys help!

i restored my computer for the 17time. total in its 4 year life, because no one can help me with my problem therefor i go to my last resort. YOU GUYS SURE HLPED A LOT

What size are we talking about thats allocated? and size of hard drive your using m8?

You may have got more response, if you had added some screen shots from Partition Magic, showing the Partitions etc.

Did the restore help you to merge your partitions ?

yea. everything is fine now. restored it all, reinstalled everything.
