Hi there,

My laptops hardrive died and it was replaced by the dell company as per the warranty agrrement, the tech guy who installed the new hardrive only made one partition i.e a C drive and did not make any other partitions is it possible to create new partitions using Command Prompt, if not then what partitioning software would you recomend to create another partition.
Secondly, if i do a partition would my data be at risk.

thnx in advance :D

If you have windows do it in disk manager, if you dont have windows on the new drive boot of a windows CD and partition the drive prior to install.
