Default Problem with explorer.exe

Hello,
My computer boots up normally until i login, when i login i go to the start menu and hover over 'connect to' and the toolbar freezes it just randomly started doing his along with avg's mfc71.dll mestiriosly(excuse my spelling) disapearing and suddenly jacking up to 39 processes from 15 please help

You can grab a copy of mfc71.dll here

Also .... have you ran AV & Anti Spyware scans recently ?
