I have a HP 1440N computer Deleted everything on it. Well when I Installed Internet Explorer 8 Beta the shortcut will not show up on my desktop... I know its installed tho... That is one problem. My second one is I have put my HP Drivers on SD Card but when I try to install my Audio driver it says "Your System does not have Microsoft's Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definision Audio Bus Driver installed." Is there a way to solve these 2 problems?

Well for the internet, does it appear as a different version of IE or just not at all? if it's a previous version, try re-installing, if it's not at all, try going to start, all programs, is IE there? if it is right click on it and click send to>desktop (create shortcut)

With the audio drivers:- are you sure that they are for your card? I know they are from HP, but there'll be different versions of the same PC with different components.

thats a point, I was thinking they were from a provided CD or something. Are they from a CD you got with the computer, or did you download them from the net?

Is the Audio a seperate card, or is it built into the motherboard?

there should be a link to it in Start>all programs. It's there when you find it right click on it and select>Send to>Desktop (create shortcut)
