The program is Sony Ericsson Image editor, and installation went smoothly, and then realized program was not the rite one for my phone, so then went to add/remove programs to uninstall it.

the program refused to uninstall. I was told that another way was to delete the content from the saved destination, which i was able to do, and the program is still on the list in add/remove programs, i have tried many things to uninstall this, mcafee uninstaller, tried maybe cleaning regestry, some program called myuninstaller, and nothing worked, and i kept receiving the following msgs:

String WRONG_OS_MSG1 was not found in string table

String WRONG_SERVICE_PACK was not found in string table

and

Sony Ericsson Image Editor WRONG_OS_MSG1 WRONG_SERVICE_PACK

I've read in some other threads that this msg means that it's the OS version thats causing it? im currently using vista on my computer...and i ..i dont know i just need help fixing this, i've tried to best of my abbilities haha

If anyone could help me get rid of this problem and program for good it was by greatly appreciated!!!!!

Go here

Use Revo to uninstall it. If it gives you an error about being unable to uninstall still follow the directions. Revo will locate and delete all of the registry keys therefore uninstalling it anyway.

I'm at the part where it asks to remove left overs, yet im not sure if these are safe to remove

it found 3 files under the name of anubis_setup, anubis.dll and anubis.exe found deep inside the AppData folder

i did a more advanced search and now i got a different error msg

This means it is not there right? I though you were trying to uninstall it?

oh sry, by more advanced search, revo has different types of searches, from a quick search to a more advanced search that goes in deeper into ur computer to find any traces of the program, which takes longer to do, but yea that did it i just checked add/remove programs and its not there anymore =D
