Default Quick Launch not working.

Right click the toolbar then properties.

Try turning it on that way.

Unlock the toolbar for a while and we'll play.

The quicklaunch may be detached and hiding under the rest of the taskbar. Make the taskbar autohide and see if it's buried underneath.

Not that? then grab hold of all the draggers one by one and slide them more open, the quicklaunch can change position so it might by now be any of them.

Ok, I put on auto hide but there's nothing underneath it. I tried grabbing hold of the draggers side to side. It may be relevant to note: whenvever I check 'Show Quick Launch' in the taskbar properties after I click OK if I go back to properties it is unchecked. Same if I right click and click Toolbars>Quick Launch.

You do insist on having quicklaunch, I suppose? We can't just say it's buggered?

I'll think. Or someone who's seen Vista can turn up. Or both.

Er... It makes it a lot quicker for me to get to apps if I'm not on my desktop... But I guess I could just wait till SP1 comes out and see if it is fixed when I install that... Or I could try system restore or something... Thanks for helping.

Or you could set up keyboard shortcuts to each of the apps you'd have had on the launch bar?
