Reformat Windows XP - USB, ports and internet doesn't work!!!

We had a virus so we reformatted the entire computer (we have an XP disk)

Now, the USB ports don't recognize anything and the internet doesn't work (connected to a wireless router with a ethernet cable or (obviously) with a USB internet thingy.

What can I do?

What brand is the PC or is it custom built?

What is the model name/model number ?

it sounds like you need device drivers, but without the exact make and model, we can't help you much.

No, you need ethernet and USB drivers, and the way to get them onto a computer with no internet access is to use a flash drive.
