OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Fresh Format and Restore done a week ago. This isn't a post asking for one to help "fix" my computer, but more so a question as to Vista's customizable functionality. When you right click on files on the Desktop or Windows Explorer. You're prompted with a set of menus. I'm aware that to change the default program launched for each file extension, you'd go to "Default Programs" in Control Panel, but that isn't the issue. However, my question is, what if it's not the default program I want to change? Is it possible to change the "Edit" function when I right click "*.jpg"? I use photoshop for photo editting and manipulation, if I could have it launch photoshop when I click edit that'd be awesome. When I double click on it normally, I'd like it to launch the normal default application, Windows Photo Gallery. Is this even possible? And if so where would I start? I'm a bit afraid of having to modify windows files, but long as the change is permanent it'd be worth doing for me. |
