Default RIS Problem "Windows\system32\config\system"

I am currently trying to create an RIS image to roll out to multiple identical workstations. I have created an RIS image using RiPrep and I get the following error "Windows\system32\config\SYSTEM File is missing or corrupt." When I RIS a clean install of XP it works just fine. I only get this problem when using the custom image that I created using RiPrep. Any ideas?
