What are you meaning my you can't get it out of safe mode? You can't shut it down? It boots up straight into safe mode?

More info is needed.

Do you get any messages when you log in saying your running in safe mode?
If not then you may be able to solve the problem by right clicking your desktop, properties, settings, and setting your screen res/bit, back to normal, and has your computer been switched of by the plug or has there been any power cuts recently? Also have you tried going into safe mode by tapping F8 at start up and pressing 1? which should set you back on normal mode.

Click Start, Run, and enter msconfig and click OK!
Now make sure you select the button that says Normal Startup.
And then click Apply and OK.
Then reboot.

Did that work?
