Default SATA Drivers Question

Hi all,

Alright I'm really stressing out on trying to get Vista Basic off of my Dell 1420 laptop. I've already consulted this page which is very helpful.
http://www.thecomputerforums.co.uk/f...blem-hdd-6072/
But one of the links is gone (the one explaining nLite). Also I get stuck on the part where I am supposed to install SATA drivers. I have already downloaded the Intel Matrix Storage Manager but what do I do from there?

Thanks in advance.

Default SATA Drivers Question

Boot off the Vista CD, I'm pretty sure it can detect SATA HDs without any additional SATA drivers.
