Default Series of error messages

HP Pavilion zt33000
768MB RAM
Windows XP Professional service pack 3

Hi!

Istarted the computer a short while ago and a series of error messages have been shown asking me to send reports to Windows (atleast 3 of them one after the other).

I managed to copy one of them:

BCCode : 1a BCP1 : 00041284 BCP2 : 60AD1001 BCP3 : 000019B4
BCP4 : C0503000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 256_1

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? I googled it but didnt get any response.

Thanks much,

Tina

Happy New Year!

Default Series of error messages

I've seen this before and it was down to faulty Ram .... it can also be caused by installing the wrong device drivers.

Google and get memtest and run it for atleast 7 passes. If you get any errors at all then it's a ram problem.

I see you say you have 728meg of ram. How many sticks is that and what size and speed are each one?

728 is a strange number. maby it has something to do with it not being 32? (eg 512mb*.32mb=1600)

Idk. im not sure if that helps.

The OP said 768mb Ram mot 728, so it looks like 1gb Ram .....
i.e. 1024mb less 256mb for on board graphics, leaving 768mb
.... the question is ... is this one 1gb stick or 2 x 512mb sticks ?
