Default Serious Vista Help

Hello I have a very bothersome problem. I recently built this computer and sometimes, usualy when im not around my pc goes to black screen saying Missing Boot Manager. I checked my Hijackthis files and I had some Missing/corrupted files.

I know how to fix this problem temporarily with the vista disk and startup repair, but how do I fix this permanently for good? Ive asked everyone and no one seems to have the answer.
Thank you

Have you tried doing a repair install? That should fix it for good.

How many drives do you have installed?

Do you have a file winload.exe in \Windows\System32 or \Windows\System32\boot?

Possibly you may need to run bcdedit to change the path to it accordingly. See
